Financial planning for founders and investors.
Pro Forma provides tools for startup founders and investors, including financial forecasting, startup valuation and venture assessment. The product helps organise the information that supports planning and investment conversations.
The biggest challenge at the beginning was making a product full of charts, figures and calculations understandable. I explored ways to present financial data clearly so founders and investors with different levels of financial experience could understand the information and navigate independently.
I designed web views and their mobile responsive layouts. This project highlights my work on turning product requirements into interface experiences, alongside a motion exploration of account entry and setup.
Explore the product through motion.
I was learning motion design through AI tools and agents, including Claude and motion agents. I experimented with prompts to turn the founder and ecosystem partner signup journey into a guided walkthrough. I wanted to explore a new way to introduce Pro Forma, build awareness of the product and show people how to get started.
From signup to profile setup.
Frames from the motion exploration show the starting action, account creation and profile setup together.

A new way to introduce the product.
This project helped me find clearer ways to represent charts, calculations and information in a product with a lot of financial data. Alongside the interface work, I was learning to prompt AI tools and motion agents, including Claude, to bring a product introduction to life. The motion exploration let me practise a new skill and try another way to create awareness of Pro Forma. This was a creative experiment, rather than a launched campaign with measured results.
